I’m wondering about attachment and transference with the therapist and the idea of escape and fantasy? How much do you think your strong feelings, constant thoughts, desires to be with your therapist are a way to escape from your present life? I wonder if the transference serves another purpose than to show us our wounds and/or past experiences, but is a present coping strategy for managing what we don’t want to face (even if unconsciously) in the present—-current relationships, life circumstances, etc. Can anyone relate to this concept of escape in relation to their therapy relationship? How does this play out for you?

Vance observes single women as useless, except for producing children. Every single person has a right to marry or not, and especially women do not need to get married just to reproduce These ideas are stupid and outdated. This explains why American women will not date incels from MAGA cults. Why not just shoot yourself in the foot, instead, it is a recipe for disaster.

Vance is not even from the Appalachian Region. He grew up in the wealthy suburbs of Ohio. He used to visit his grandmother in Kentucky, and apparently his grandmother abused him so much that he wrote a book derogating people from Appalachia. Vance wrote an entire book about the Appalachian region where he stereotyped the Appalachian people as lazy, displaying learned helplessness, along with portraying the Appalachian people as drug addicts, and aggressive people.

But she said her family and other loved ones ultimately helped her overcome the painful experience. She eventually pursued a real estate career, got married, and had two children. Upton in the interim also reportedly demonstrated her support online for Trump’s presidency, including his lies that voting fraudsters unduly orchestrated his defeat to Joe Biden in the 2020 election. She had mostly faded from the public consciousness when Trump’s running mate thrust her back into it Thursday, shortly before CNN aired Harris’s first news network interview since becoming the Democratic presidential nominee. [1] Vance’s X account republished a video clip of Upton’s infamous 2007 remarks along with the caption, “BREAKING: I have gotten ahold of the full Kamala Harris CNN interview.” [1]

Why are there posts saying the T in LGBT should be dropped? With what is happening in the US and beyond against the trans community cause for concern that if this is accepted could it be deemed acceptable to start on the LGB community again?

So to answer your question, Kelly, I think Vance is a psychopath and a narcissist, and he might be more dangerous than Trump. If Trump were to win, Vance would be younger than Trump, and he wrote parts of Project 2025. If Trump dies, in office, Vance would become dictator for life and The Handmaid’s Tale would become a reality in the United States.

Upton later told New York magazine that some college baseball players taunted her cruelly when she attended a party at one point, and someone mailed her a note suggesting she “go die for [her] stupidity”. She described how the harassment drove her into depression and prompted her to have suicidal thoughts. [1]

I think Vance is making misogyny his trademark because he is obsessed with Project 2025 and controlling women.
